Manuelle Guibal

Manuelle Guibal's started her own label in 1991 in Paris. She designs clothing as a lifestyle that she wants to share with other women. Manuel sees clothing as a reflection of ourselves and her creations evoke a sense of simplicity, calm, freedom and longevity. For summer she focuses on materials such as linen, cotton, ramie and silk and in winter she is drawn to wool, alpaca, cashmere, silk, mink and angora. The summer collections are piece-dyed which gives a vibrant colour that makes the fabric come alive. Her designs are often 'oversized' cuts giving a sense of freedom too the wearer, perfect for the Australian climate.
